Have you seen a parrot? Parrots are beautiful birds. Various people keep them at home and they make a great company. Parrot s’ Latin name is psittacines and they can be found in United States, Africa and Asia.

A parrot’s distinguishing element is a strapping curved body, sturdy legs and bright feet. There are over 388 species of parrots and among them African Grey parrot is the most beautiful one.

The African grey parrot's distinctiveness contain an standard sized bird that may be observed in main and minor rainforest of west and middle Africa.

Professionals look upon this bird as the cleverest birds on this planet. They feed mostly on fruits, seeds and snails. These fine-looking and intelligent creatures have skill to mimic human's speech. That is why many people love to have one at residence. A quantity of people, who love to spend time with pets, train them to articulate certain words or several phrases. Particular hunters detain these animals and sell them with very fine prices.

These large birds love gathering in groups and are expressive birds.. They inhabit in the flocks and are good at reading their companion’s emotion, whether birds or humans.

These lovely clever creatures require attention and communication. Seeing as they love gathering, if they left unaccompanied, they get worn-out and dejected. If their owner does not speak with them, they express their sadness by being noisy, picking out their feather and unhappy.

If a person makes a choice to buy this type of parrot, s/he need to keep in mind that these lovely and clever creatures dislike solitude. You must spend more time with them. I think this is a wonderful idea of having a pet that may make a wonderful companion for lonely people.

Parrots are very intelligent birds. I have heard and seen Einstein the talking bird that is able to converse with his possessor in a very interesting level. He listens to the question and answers to it in a funny way. There are many such examples. It all depends on their owners and the method of training these pretty birds.

It can be very amusing to train these animals. Historically, these parrots have been around regarding 4000 years from China Empire to Egypt, Persia and Europe.

They could imitate language and various of them were tested at University of Arizona. A professor did run a series of test in order to investigate the degree of language learning. The bird showed an interesting result. He was able to speak a language containing 100's words. African Grey Parrot tend to be emotional and neurotic sometimes, they require attention and your time. That is why if you sense that you do not have much time to spend with it, you need to reconsider to buy another type of bird if you love to keep a pet at residence.
